SPEAKER: Mr. Boyd Dellwo, The Space Ship Company (TSC)
Boyd joined The Spaceship Company in 2010 as employee number 19 and as one of the first engineers at the company- he has since moved into the position of Structural Engineering Manager. In this role he is responsible for the TSC team delivering structural design/analysis, M&P, materials testing and large scale structural testing on the current WhiteKnight II and Spaceship II that are in flight test, as well as the fleet of vehicles that are to be built for Virgin Galactic.
Originally from Australia, Boyd has spent his career traveling between the USA and Australia. Prior to working for TSC, Boyd has been involved in various Structural, Test and Materials Engineering capacities on the 787-8, G280, A400M, and CH-53K, with strong experience in testing and design of composite materials.

Boyd’s presentation will focus on TSC, Whiteknight II and Spaceship II, and how the
structural engineering team works.
